Michael's Prog Drum Blog is a blog about Prog Drumming. The purpose here is the discussion of drumming in Prog music, be that Prog Rock, Prog Jazz, Prog Metal, or anything else I decide is worth calling prog!

16th Note Permutations
Another one of my teaching aides. A chart of the 16 possible permutations of four 16th notes/rests. Take any combination of four squares to create a rhythm in 4/4 time.
I am a Prog drummer. I have a Prog band in which I do the Prog drumming. I also teach drumming and write articles about drumming and teaching.
Oh, I'm also an artist and an art teacher as well as a music teacher and it all kind of gets mixed up sometimes so you may have to put up with stuff besides prog drumming because, after all, this is my blog and I can do whatever I want.
